Memories of not-too-long-ago and Induction Day

Walking past the childcare center, I inhaled the scent wafting out from the open windows, hearing the sounds of the teachers and the innocent laughter of the children within. It sure brings back memories of my not-too-long-ago childhood. And one rather nonsensical question, too:

Do all childcare centers smell the same?

Nonsensical as it may seem, I was really pondering on it while walking back to my block.

Indeed, the scent of the childcare center near my block is exactly the same, if not very similar to the scent that of the childcare center I was in.

Maybe they all buy similar disinfectant or something =/ Or maybe its the scent of little children. Or the aftermath of their puke (kidding kidding).

Anyway, it sure brings back memories. I was feeling nostalgic all the way back. I wasn't an angel, but I wasn't exactly a little hellion either. I remember playing tricks on the other kids there, chasing after the little kids trying to run away from nap time, ganging up with the other kids against one of the teachers there we really disliked and so on.

Okay, maybe I was a hellion.
(But hey, I was a kid!)

I remember digging up earthworms, hanging upside down from monkey bars, climbing on the triangular tops of the playground and all the other crazy, childish things I used to do (:

Had induction day today, woke up insanely early, dared not nap on the bus, though it was highly tempting, for fear of missing my stop. I managed to find my way to the right theater on time(was early, in fact), sat down, read a little, mingled a little, then things started kicking.

One word to describe my FMS seniors: high.

God, I'm already infringing one of the don'ts there - blogging about school.

But then again, if I don't blog about school, or my lectures and stuff, what else am I going to blog about considering I'll be spending the bulk of the next three years in campus. Oh well. I guess I'll have to know exactly what and what not to blog about. And the thing about our lecturers reading our blogs and stuff. I hope they do. I hope they read ABAL Institute. But then again, they might just think I'm a childish fool.

Bleh.

But whatever. Its so strict there. 16 minutes late for class (allowance is 15min) and you're considered absent.

ABSENT.

Supposedly the deadline for an assignment is 4pm. You hand it in at 4:01pm, its considered one day late.

ONE DAY LATE.

Oh gosh.

But then again, I think things'll definitely be interesting.

(:

God bless.

(P.S.: Ooh, its Friday the 13th today! But I quote Daniel Khong: "Who can ever have bad luck on Fri. the 13th when you're serving the Lord?")
