I saw my one of my dad's fighting/fighter (I don't know which) fish die today. Not to be sick, but it looked quite...
Interesting.
The poor fishie had been swimming around dejectedly, just resting at the bottom of the bottle, not eating much of the food that was it was given. And this particular fish used to jump when it saw food.
I guess it had been sick for quite some time =/
So then, while I was in my room, I heard mum exclaiming that the fish had actually jumped out of the water and out of the container, onto to the surface the containers were placed on. I think my dad put it back into the water.
Then it started trashing around frantically, before going immobile, then trashing again as wildly as ever. What used to be a dark, rich blue, its scales were actually a pale, muddy colouration, such a stark contrast. It flipped upside down, trashed around, sank down, and then it finally stopped moving altogether.
Dad flushed it down the porcelain express in form of a burial.
I wondered if it was a bad omen.
After the fish died, dad drove me to Hougang Int., where the shuttle bus that was usually early arrived late. But I still got to school before tutorial started, much obliged to the sucidal bus driver whose turns are so sharp, you can fly off your seat even though you're sitting next to the window instead of the aisle T_T
Met Janice along the way to the Atrium, accompanied her to get a sandwich, met Kavina at the deli, then sat with her and Tim for a bit before heading off for Med Soc.
Med Soc was FUN.
Seriously.
But okay, I admit I didn't do my research before hand, and I found an article on the spot via Factiva =D Something about Sparky Animations (from Singapore) developing a 'crowd animation' software to create scenes like those wonderful battle scenes between the Orcs and the Elves in LoTR (I heart Aragorn~). Pretty cool, really.
The quiz part was fun too. And apparently, I can set hard questions. Bwaha.
But all was good.
Then came Marketing. There was a graded quiz today, a measly 5% of our grand total.
And I didn't study.
Well, I scanned through the notes a little, and had intended to finish reading up the notes while I was on the bus to school but I fell asleep instead unfortuntely. I shall be thankful that my bag and MacBook didn't fly off whilst I was asleep and the driver was performing one of his deadly turns.
So yeah.
We had to do the quiz online. So everyone like, had their notes and ppts opened up while doing the quiz (me included, of course).
Except that I answered the questions without referring to the notes and when I did, my answer was supposedly the correct one or I couldn't find the relevant section and gave up searching.
I got 16/20.
I was so freaking happy lah. I saw my marks, and I was like, 'Piang. Buay bai. Never study still can get 16 marks.' I wonder what I'd've gotten if I had studied =/
Hmm.
These 16 marks however, has changed my mindset. Yes, the questions were rather easy, but getting 80% of the marks without studying has certainly given me a morale booster. I might have a knack for marketing without even realising.
I shall do my best to listen during lectures, pay attention during tutorials and ask questions if needed -nod-
I WILL PASS MARKETING.
Rawr.
Went to Island Creamery with Kav, Isaac and Casey after marketing. I had Nutella and Teh Tarik.
I HEART NUTELLA.
It taste sooooooooo freakin' good la!
Except that its kinda expensive.
And a little far.
And I'm too lazy to walk =D
Here ends this post.
Oh yes, I don't know how I'll complete ABAL 2. I haven't touched it in ages. There's so much work to do, with Bleach and all =X
But I'll do my best.
