sickening

Its freezing.

Raining almost everyday, for hours at a time.

And its the completely wrong time of year.

At the rate we're going, it'll be snowing sooner or later.

And the snow that comes down will be grey instead of a pure, pristine white, thanks to all the smoke in our atmosphere. Poor trees.

I apologise for being so.. weird.. in this post.

I'm down with something. I think dear En Ping passed me her flu.

My nose is dripping.
My throat aches.
The left side of my mouth hurts.

Now I can't eat properly, talk properly etc. Well, maybe I can talk but it hurts like shit.

I need liang teh.

Anyone kind enough to get me some? (:

At times like this, I just want to go over to my gran's house and let her take care of me.

I miss my ah ma.

I remember once, when I was very young, I was friggin' reluctant to go to school. So ah ma was chasing me all around just to get me up the school bus.

I miss ah ma's cooking.

She only cooks once a year now, during Chinese New Year -sobs- And even then, its ah ma throwing in the ingredients and my aunt stirring the pots (:

I miss my ah gong.

He passed away last year, on Children's Day.

I remember playing badminton downstairs with my sister, and ah gong watching over us. In a fit of excitement, I accidently threw the racquet when hitting the shuttlecock....

And it hit ah gong on the head.

We had to go home after that; no more playing.

I miss the times when I was a kid, when I had no worries, except whether my sister had more candy than I did.

I remember my very first purchase in the school canteen, some Apollo chocolate for like, 30cents. I got hell from my parents because I wasn't supposed to spend the money.

Funny how one subject leads to another.

I don't know why I'm so nostalgic now, remeniscing things that happened a decade or more ago.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CHILDHOOD?!

Now I'm slaving because MOE said I had to, I'm shivering because the weather decided to be funny, and its so long more to my birthday.
