Sakae Sushi Fest

Okay, this is freaking cool.

I've just come home after a loooong day outside, and I've been out of bed since 5:30 am.

**Disclaimer: Before you say I'm dishonest, I only discovered this after I got home and was calculating the amount of money spent today. But it was damn cool anyway.**

Today, my sis and I went for a sushi binge at Sakae Sushi (CP), together with Neko-kun, Anisu and Ginny ne-chan.

I'll spare you the details of walking around CP, trying to amuse ourselves before the 3pm Tea Time Buffet started at Sakae.

Soon we were finally settled in into our little booth and grabbing random plates of the conveyor belt (buffet ma - just grab lor). We had ordered hot green tea. Then my sis wanted to take a sip from her cup but it was hot. She was going "Oh ouch! Hot hot hot!"

The waiter who had showed us to our seats was somewhere nearby, serving other customers. Suddenly, he reappeared, holding a plastic cup full of ice cubes.

"Here's for your tea."

He then set it down beside my sister.

Okay, I thought, this is pretty good service........

Then came the Kani Tempura (a bit cheapo la, but its fantastic! Crabsticks fried in tempura dough thing). However, there was only a tiny little dollop of mayonnaise on the plate. Then my sister mumbled something about wanting more mayo. Then Ginny ne-chan wanted to wave at a waiter to ask for more mayo. But suddenly... The very same waiter that gave my sister ice cubes appeared at our table with a little platter full of mayo.

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

He must have super sonic hearing.

Then we ordered 4 red plates - not inclusive in the buffet, now at a promotional price of $4.99 per plate instead of the usual 5 odd. We happily ordered two plates of salmon, one maguro and one hamachi.

But now 4 slices instead of 5 lei.

"They dropped the price and dropped a slice," I said.

Buuuuuuuuut anyway.

Here's the main part of my story (that was all just a build-up ^^).

After we were all full and considerably fatter from starving ourselves to stuff ourselves with sushi, we went to pay.

Total bill was $101.75
(for 5 people, still quite okay la. There was sashimi and sake!)

Goofed around a little more at CP, and I've just gotten home.

Then I checked the receipt again.

And again.

Then I realised..........................................................

THEY DIDN'T CHARGE THE SASHIMI.

I calculated again and again. They didn't charge the sashimi, neither did they charge one glass of green tea, unless there was some buy-3-get-1-free promo that I didn't know about.

Everything else on the receipt tallied, EXCEPT FOR THE LACK OF SASHIMI.

THAT'S ABOUT 25 BUCKS THAT THEY DIDN'T CHARGE, PLUS GST AND CUSTOMER SERVICE?!
(maybe my maths off la - it's just a rough estimation)

DAMN COOL CAN?!

We actually ninja-ed 25 bucks worth of sashimi from Sakae. And they were delicious can???

FREAKING HENG LA.

Neko-kun said it was either the cashier forgot to key it it, or the waiter was soooooo besotted with my sister, he forgot to write it down.

I have to go sleep now; been up for more than 12 hours and I'm super sleepy. But first, here's a picture of the delicious har chiong gai I had at NP Alumni for $4.50 (:

Doesn't look much, but its delicious!

Kthxbye.

P.S.: Ginny ne-chan, I love my nails! Thanks!
