Of teh peng, kaya toast and soft-boiled eggs

I had a very nostalgic breakfast with bee yesterday in a coffee shop nestled somewhere in Kovan.

A glass of teh peng, a plate of kaya toast and two soft-boiled eggs with a generous amount dark soy sauce and pepper.

I remember when I was much younger and living in a tiny HDB flat in Jalan Bahagia (the really old flats where each one had their own personal rubbish chute), we would always go down on weekends to have the exact same breakfast, except that it would be milo peng instead.

My dad would help me take the eggs out of the hot water and crack them for me, leaving me to mix in as much sauce and pepper as I wanted.

Bee did the same thing for me <3

Carl's Jr. for dinner today.

I can't wait.

I shall try to remember to take pictures of the huge-ass burgers of theirs.

And the beefy chilli cheese fries.

CARL'S JR. HERE I COME!~

But first... FA2.
