Trudging wearily to PR after an angles test and discussion about our magazine project, I walked into the classroom and my poor nose was immediately assaulted with the headache-inducing smell of drying paint.
Putting my stuff down, I went to the toilet, only to find a sign saying "Toilet closed for repainting".
Never mind.
I went down to the third floor only to find the same sign greeting me. Ignoring the sign, I went into the toilet and did my business.
The annoying smell of paint lingered in the air of our poorly ventilated classroom meant for an air-conditioned environment, effectively sending me to the verge of a bad mood. We had to resort to opening the doors to let the air circulate as much as possible and had to cope with the noise from the corridors.
Does the school not have the sense to repaint the classrooms during the holidays? It's well into week 2 of the semester (and they only just started this week).
Don't tell me they might have had other stuff to do. Our break was almost 2 months long.
And why are all the female toilets undergoing painting? Shouldn't they alternate on every floor?
Retarded estate management.
And if you REALLY have to paint DURING THE SCHOOL SEMESTER, why not use ODOURLESS PAINT.
The poor lecturer had to be in that class from 8AM till 1PM.
Does the school not have the common decency to consider the welfare of it's student body and staff alike?
Stupid, retarded crap.
