Horrible experience in Long John Silver, Hougang Mall today.
I went in, waited my turn and ordered my fries to take away.
Whilst she was keying in my order, she suddenly squealed. Very loudly. Like a fat pig stuck with a red-hot poker.
Then she started waving at some person who walked past the store, her boyfriend, I assume.
While I was still standing at the counter.
She still had the guts to say to her colleague at the other counter, "Eh I was very loud hor?"
All the while I was waiting for my fries, she kept waving at the guy.
After my fries were packed and she was about to hand them to me, she stopped mid-action.
Why?
She was busy talking to a friend.
She didn't realise she had my fries still in her hand until I said "Excuse me." in the most polite and sarcastic way, with my anger barely concealed.
Goodness, never, ever, EVER, eat at Hougang's LJS. If you're desperate for them, take a train down to Compass Point. It's only three more stops away.
It's clear to anyone, regardless of whether or not you've worked in customer service, that this sort of behaviour is wrong.
Very, very wrong.
How the fuck, can you squeal and wave, while you're in the middle of serving customer?
You're lucky I didn't ask to see your manager and your lack of a proper name tag saved your ass.
