Happy belated Valentines day~
Valentines day for me was.. havoc.
It was so damn sad la, working on V-day.
A couple of interesting and exasperating events occurred on that particular day.
Event no. 1 has cause for laughter. Well, it tickled the funny bones of most of the crew that night. You'd've laughed as well if you were there.
See, a florist from from the flower shop neighbouring ours came in to exchange some money with us. Nat assisted her since he was the one with the key to the safe. Then as she was leaving, Auntie May called Lucy 'mei nu!'. The florist stopped in her tracks, turned around and asked, "Who call me?" Omg, so freaking thick-skinned!
Event no. 2. This one was a little... I dunno. The florist came back again, this time around 6 plus 7, when there were already long queues forming at both counters. Like, she was blind or something. She just came in, so bloody ignorant of all the people queueing up, and she was like, "I want to change money again." CAN'T YOU SEE THE BLOODY LONG QUEUES?! Gosh, we were already severely under-staffed that night!
Event no. 3. I really I want to scream as I think about it. This lady, she ordered meal 6 and 7, which was the Ebi and the Salmon & Beef combo meals respectively. I repeated her orders. And she confirmed that they were right. Then I placed the Ebi bowl on her tray. And she was like, "Uh.. I want salmon. Same price right? Don't want the mayonaise." So okay, fine, I'll change it to salmon for you. Went back to the plasma screen, got it changed to salmon. Then I asked her if she wanted mayo on the Salmon-B. She said no. As I put the orders on her tray, she was like, "Since when number 9 got salmon one ar?"
F.C.U.K.
Then I was like, "You ordered 6 and 7." By then I was already considerably less hospitable than before. Then I pretended not to hear her orders of two hot japanese teas. Well, she ordered them as I was giving her her change, and after that she went on changing her orders so there wasn't time to key in her new order, not with so many customers behind her. She went to her seat, then she came back a while later and she was like, "Hello miss, where's my tea?" And I was like, "It's not on the receipt." I almost made her queue up again but then again, I'm too nice.
-sigh-
Can't stand these people. Like, hello, make up your mind first before you order la. So many customers waiting to order behind you. Take a slightly longer time to order, nevermind.
But don't change your freaking order AFTER having it keyed in, and AFTER giving your cash, and AFTER receiving your change.
Lets say there weren't so many customers, fine. Can do overring. But wtf la, so many people behind you, still can say so much shit.
Inconsiderate.
So what if you're customer? So what if customer is always right? Doesn't mean you have the right to be so friggin' wishy-washy and undecided. So freaking pig-headed. Lets see you do counter at dinner rush, and you have a freaking exasperating customer LIKE YOURSELF. See how you feel, see how it feels like.
Idiot.
Anyway, on to nicer things, my V-day goodies~
In order of which they were received:
1. LoTR Evenstar movie-replica from Lee Peng about a week before V-day (THANKS!)
2. A little chocolate from Xiu Hui (Love the wrapping!)
3. A fuzzy flower also from Xiu Hui (Haha.. Thanks, it's PINK!)
4. A rose from Nat =.=
'Tis getting late. I'm tired.
G'night.
