I am SUMOMO.
And the picture currently adorning my desktop:

I am just going to die from the cuteness.
Anyway, I went to church today.
Happy 21st Birthday, FCBC.
I can't stand those people who just can't make up their minds on where they want to sit. First, a group of boys went into the row on the opposite side from where I was sitting. Then a few minutes later, they all trundle out in the direction where I was standing, and the heaviest of the lot, a woman, maybe their mother, proceeds to step down on my toe.
With her full weight.
Then came a group of girls.
There were too many of them, and only 2 seats left on my row, so two of them go in to put their stuff down while the rest were standing outside.
Then they go out a while later, presumably to the toilet.
Then they come back in a while after, to take their bags, and go out again =.=
Annoying.
Then there was this mother-and-son pair behind us.
The boy, maybe 4 or 5 years old was standing up on the chair, banging his clapper stick thingies together, when it really wasn't the song for it.
And throughout praise and worship and the sermon itself, it was constant disturbance as the child misbehaved, and the mother scolding him very loudly, oblivious to the stares of obvious disapproval and annoyance from the people sitting around her.
She would whack the boy, and he would whack her back.
Many times, I was itching to tell her to move to the back where all the parents and little babies were so she could reprimand him.
Eurgh.
I can't understand why some people don't know how to discipline their children properly, so much so that the child can accomplish creating a very much uncalled for ruckus in public, talking back to his mother , thwacking the mother back and obviously not listening to her, all before he reaches 5 years old.
Kids these days.
Seeing children like that, it puts me off wanting to have kids in the future. But its the incompetent parents that disgust me more.
Parents that let their children run amok, disturbing other people and whatever else.
Please lah, want to bring your child to church and sit with the other people, discipline your child and make him or her understand that he or she needs to be quiet when in church.
I know it sounds very un-Christian of me to be saying so but really, kids need discipline and sparing the rod will most certainly spoil the child and you'll live to regret it when your spoilt child is living the high-flying life and you're left to be chucked in a home or a hospice.
Gaah.
