That's like, more than double my pay in Yoshi though you can't really compare; they're in two completely different leagues. I'll still be getting paid more as compared to what I got in Yoshi, and they're still in two completely different leagues. Bleh.

Then again, it'll be a little hard, because I haven't gone through the PR or advertising modules so I basically know nuts.

I don't really know much about ODEX but from what I've read on the Net, the myriad of views (MEDSOC's getting to me ><), ODEX apparently doesn't really care about the anime fans here in Singapore and is merely using it as a tool to make money.
Which is really bad.

Because the quality of the anime in ODEX boxsets is t3h suX0r, and some of the subbings are totally off because they buy cheap and lousy quality from other places before changing the packaging and redistributing it here. And the poorly translated anime they buy are again, poorly translated into English, hence a great difference in meaning etc.

This I know because I DO own a few boxsets from ODEX.

Bleh.

So what am I supposed to do if I can't download good quality anime with accurate subtitles?

Fly to Japan on a weekly basis just to watch Bleach?

If the quality was good and I actually had the means to buy anime from ODEX, I would.

But why waste money when you can download it for free..?

Another thing.

Most people watching anime would be teenagers. And if direct streaming/direct downloading/BitTorrent downloading is now deemed illegal, what can poor, stressed out teenagers do or turn to if their beloved anime, the very air that they breathe, the very substance they live on is forcibly taken away from them? When what they've been doing for so long, a social norm is suddenly broken down by fines which are a rather hefty sum?

WATCH PORN AR?!

Which wouldn't be very good either, for the society of Singapore.

Teens would get screwed up in their minds from watching pornographic materials late into the night and grow into sex-crazed maniacs when they would only be thinking they were swinging around Zanpakutous if they were allowed to download quality anime from the Net.

Or they would think their penis is a Zanpakutou, and swing it around anyway.

So anyway, they would get screwed up in their minds from excessively watching porn, instead of excessively watching anime.

Then they would go around screwing other people, with or without their consent.

And Singapore's sexual crime rate would skyrocket.

And the streets wouldn't be safe anymore.

Of course, people can probably download and watch Hentai.

But that's just as bad, isn't it?
