Yesterday was officially my last day of my internship at the PR firm. It was quite an experience, I must say, even though the pay wasn't really that good.
Not even peanuts.
More like peanut dust.
But its for the experience, right?
It'll look good on my resume, too.
Ah Ma came out from surgery two days ago just fine. She's a little uncomfortable, but its all just post-op. She'll be just fine in a while. Nauseous, grumpy, full of complaints and whatnot, Ah Ma's almost herself again sans free movement.
Meanwhile, PICTURES!
Isn't this the cutest loaf of bread you've ever seen??
MINI ADVERTORIAL. (no, I'm not being paid for this ^^)
Yesterday I met Mummy for lunch at Maxwell Market (Tanjong Pagar). After lunching on some delicious mee siam, on came dessert:
CHOCOLATE LAVA, $3.50
For a dessert found in a market, its got great presentation, and an even greater taste!
But wait, what's INSIDE the chocolate pudding?

This is where the "lava" in the name of the dessert comes to play.
It is a perfect mix of warm and cold, and it isn't too sweet, a balance of both flavours. The owner of the store served our dessert after 15min. He saw me taking pictures of it, then he said, "Take a scoop, then take a picture again." Of course, me and Mummy were puzzled. We asked him why, but he said he didn't know how to explain and to just take a picture after taking a scoop out of it.
The 15 minutes was definitely worth the wait.
My only regret is that I only got to eat it on my last day of work, and I don't know how long it will be before I can get to eat it again.
Anyone care to join me? (:
